a corner of the sky.
i had just gotten back from my 3-days “weekday getaway” to Port Dickson.
okay, the truth is actually, two of my sisters and myself went there to follow Mum who was invited as a guest speaker for a conference there- but whatever, as far as we were concerned, we were on holiday!
surprisingly, i found the trip to be fun, the place to be larger than i’d presumed (i don’t know why i thought it’s like some mini, mini-island) and most importantly, the beach and sea to be as beautiful as ever.
i think i’m in love with the beach (in general), especially the sea!
honestly, i did not think that the beaches in Port Dickson would preserve all that beauty, but guess what?
everything about the beach was just BEAUTIFUL.
yesterday afternoon, i managed to sit in the balcony directly facing the great wide sea, with the iPod playing Hanson’s The Walk album (this particular playlist was chosen for inspiration of greater insights, hehe) and i realized that wherever in the world that we go, the sea will always be the same- beautiful, mysterious and without boundaries- and i’ve always had a thing for that great unknown… looking at the vastness of it all, i think i felt His grace and for that, it has made me realize just how small i am under His wonderments; i feel so humbled…
truly, He is the Almighty (:
to close off this (happy) entry, here’s a few pictures which i had taken using my camera phone- Motorola K1 is awesome! (see it for yourself, the beautiful sea!) :

if you notice the little holes (ick) in the sand, they’re actually homes of small little crabs- interesting, no?
a moment of drama (okay, candid shot really, with Jat behind there) :

…and lastly, a message-in-the-sand for you (can you read it? hehe) :

…i’m glad i went, fall in love (with the sea, that is) and came back rejuvenated!
