Yesterday, on my flight back to PJ/KL – home – where I am right now writing this and where I will be this week for training in the KL office, I wrote this on the last page of (my copy of) Elif Shafak’s The Forty Rules of Love. I wrote these down because I want this little note to be my promise to myself; we can even call this my 2017 resolution. When I write things down in ink, on paper… these thoughts and wishes, they take form and become tangible beings; finite and made of matter.
The first sentence reads:
One day I will leave The Company.
I will be brilliant – and you should see me in that light. It will be bright.
I will be bright.
